How to Integrate Wishlist Member and WPFusion

Video Transcription

In today's video, I'm going to show you how to integrate WishList Member and WPFusion coming up.

Hello, everyone, and welcome. My name is Mak, and in today's video, we're going to be talking about integrating WPFusion and WishList Member. Now, the reason why you may want to do this is because let's say you want to send specific emails to different people that have purchased different Membership Levels. Now, what WPFusion does is it allows you to create tags on your CRM. And those tags then can be synchronized with your website, making it easier for you to send specific emails to whoever subscribes for whatever Membership Level or it may even be a course.

Now, I know trying to explain this sounds a bit crazy. I'm going to show you how it was integrated. And then in future videos, I want to show you how the whole system works. All right, let's dive in. Let me show you how to integrate it. OK, so over here I am on my website. And by the way, this is WPFusion. So you can connect WordPress to anything. And this is really, really exciting because this allows us, as I mentioned, to connect your website with your CRM, which in this case I use ConvertKit, but also other CRMs that support the tax system, pretty much like ActiveCampaign and also quite another few that also do that.

So let me show you how to integrate this. So the first thing I want to do is to download WPFusion. Now, I've gone in for the paid version because it allows me to do extra stuff like, let's say, for example, integrate it with, say, WooCommerce. It allows me to do that as well so I can apply a tag to anyone that has bought my course, which is fantastic. Now let me show you how to integrate it.

OK, so over here, all you need to do is to first of all, of course, download WPFusion. Now, once you've downloaded it, you will see it over here in the Plugin. So I'm going to show you all the plug ins here and show you where it is. So I've downloaded the latest version of WPFusion and here it is. So what you need to do to get started is to “Activate” your license keys which I'm going to do by coming over here and I'm going to enter my license key.

Now, the next part is to add my CRM. And if I take a look here, you can see there's quite a lot. There is AWeber, ActiveCampaign, AgileCRM, Autopilot. And here's ConvertKit, which is my favorite one here. So I'm going to log in to ConvertKit and make sure these two are connected. So let's go ahead and choose our CRM. So I'm going to come over here and use it. ConvertKit, oops, there we go now I need to enter my API Key Secret now this is what's going to allow the connection between my CRM and my website.

So let's go ahead and do that. So I'm going to come over here to ConvertKit and look for my API key. So I'm going to log in and then I'm going to come over here to my account and go into my profile, so let's have a look here. They ask for the secret. So back over here. Now, if I need to find my API Secret, I need to come over here to account settings.

So here's my API Key, and this is my API Secret. All right. So I'm going to copy it. And then back over here, I'm going to paste it and then connect. So now you can see it's synching all my tags that I have on my CRM. OK, so now that I have this all set and is complete, that is great. All right. So the next step now is to show you how this works now with WooCommerce.

So let's say I come over here to WooCommerce. And by the way, I have quite a few products here. I think I created about two. So these are my products here. So let's say I want to add a specific tag when someone buys my course. So I would come over here to “My Course,” click on “Edit.” Now, when we come all the way down here, we're going to notice that now we have WPFusion. So if I click on here, I can apply tags when someone purchases this course.

OK, so this is my course here, I can say, OK, I need a specific tag to be applied when they buy. So I'll come over here and I would say maybe they bought the Photoshop course.

OK, so let's just pretend this is the Photoshop course. So a tag will be applied here and this tag will be pushed over and out to ConvertKit, whereby if let's say I have different tags now on my system, I can then specifically send emails to all the users that have bought my Photoshop course, or if it's different, course, I can send emails to those users only. So this is why you would need to use WPFusion. But of course, that's not the only reason why you may want to use this.

There's so many other situations where you can use this because it also integrates with page builders and you can also link this and restrict content as well. So this is a really, really powerful Plugin, but this allows the communication between your WordPress website and your CRM. So this is pretty much how you get to use it and also how to add it onto your website. It's a very simple integration. And if you have any questions on how to set it all up, please let me know in the video description below.

All right, guys. So that's all I have for you in today's video. Thank you very much for watching. If you like this video. Don't forget to subscribe and bell notification. "We’ve tried a couple of other membership tools that were part of packages that we’d invested in. But nothing can compare to WishList Member. I know that there’s a lot of cool stuff out there that people have been building over the years. But when it comes to customization, if you use WordPress, you can’t touch this. Obviously, I’m super biased, but we’ve made millions of dollars because of this product."

WishList Member integrates with the tools I use TODAY. And they’re so eager to integrate with tools that are coming out. It’s amazing how they do it actually. If I was going to be buying a membership plugin, today… for me, I would go with WishList Member.
