Administration - Reset Settings
Want a fresh start? This video walks you through how to do a complete reset of all of your WishList Member settings and set everything back to default mode.
Note: When we say complete reset, we mean it. Before using this function we recommend running a backup of your existing setup and downloading it to your computer, otherwise, there's no going back!
This video we're going to talk about the reset settings screens in WishList Member. So go to WishList Member > Administration > Reset Settings. This one's really pretty straightforward. What this will do is reset all of your WishList Member settings back to a factory or default install, and that's pretty much all it does.
A couple of things to keep in mind: this option will completely reset your copy of WishList Member to exactly the way it was when it was first installed. This will delete all membership levels, clear all settings, and any other customization you may have done with your site through WishList Member. So be very careful; this is the nuke button. Be very careful with it.
And obviously, as it says on the bottom line here, before using this option, we recommend you make a complete backup of your site and download it to your computer because you are quite literally erasing everything inside WishList Member.
