You may find your site is running an older version of PHP and this can result in some plugins not running at their best. A plugin may even fail to update if the required version of PHP isn't running. But, this is a quick fix.
A version of PHP that is compatible with WishList Member needs to be installed and running on the server and the required PHP version for WishList Member is currently PHP 7.4 or higher.
If your server/hosting provider is running an older version of PHP then errors can occur when trying to upload or update WishList Member.
You can contact your server/hosting provider to find out if PHP 7.4 or higher is running. If a lower version of PHP is running, it should be a relatively quick process for your server/hosting company to upgrade accordingly. A hosting provider can usually take care of this for you with minimal effort.
WishList Member Self Check – PHP Version Check
A PHP Version Check can occur when the WishList Member Self Check is run. This check will find any potential issues with the version of PHP running on the server.
