Is WishList Member being shut down?

No. WishList Member will continue to be supported and is not going away. Customers with an active plan will continue to receive plugin updates and support for as long as their plan remains active. We will keep WishList Member compatible with current versions of WordPress and PHP. What is changing is that new feature development has moved to WishList LMS. The introduction of WishList LMS does not affect the ongoing support of WishList Member.

Can I keep using — or still renew, upgrade, or downgrade — my WishList Member plan?

Yes. Your WishList Member plan will remain active for as long as your subscription stays active. You will continue to have access to the plugin, updates, and support. You can manage your WishList Member plan in the Customer Center: my.wishlistmember.com

Will I still receive support for WishList Member?

Yes. The same team and same support process remains for customers with an active WishList Member plan. No change in quality of support.

Does WishList LMS have everything WishList Member has? Is it an upgrade?

They are not a 1-to-1 comparison. WishList LMS is not an upgrade to WishList Member — it is a separate, standalone product built as a dedicated Learning Management System for course creators. The two plugins have meaningful overlap but also real differences in features and integrations. I'm starting a new project, or I'm new to WishList – which product should I choose?

If you're starting a new project or are new to WishList, we recommend WishList LMS. Can I migrate my existing site to WishList LMS? Do I have to switch?

The two plugins are built on different codebases, with different integrations, therefore a direct migration is not supported. Staying on WishList Member is a perfectly valid long-term option. There is no requirement to switch. We recommend WishList LMS if you are starting a new project. Each product operates as a standalone plugin with its own plans and feature sets.

Do I need WishList Member to use WishList LMS?

No. WishList LMS is a fully independent product and does not require or connect to WishList Member. Each operates as a standalone plugin with its own plans and feature sets.

What happens if my WishList Member plan lapses or I don't renew?

If your plan lapses, you will no longer receive plugin updates or support and will not be able to download the plugin or access your license key until you have an active plan. We recommend keeping your plan active to ensure you continue receiving security and compatibility updates. You can renew anytime still at my.wishlistmember.com.

I have an active WishList Member Classic/Legacy plan. Is anything changing for me?

No. Your plan remains active and unaffected. You will continue to receive plugin updates and support. These plans are still honored and unaffected by the introduction of WishList LMS.
